Bye Bye Chicago, Hello Seattle
Now I'm in Seattle, actually as of last Tuesday. Still only faint blogging because our connection won't be installed till Tuesday.
We went through the worst weather I could possibly imagine, from a sudden complete whiteout in Cheyenne and icy roads at night that, between them almost killed us(having experienced Wyoming at its worst, I now sort of understand why Dick Cheney wants to annihilate nature), to winds and rain in Oregon that almost lifted our very heavy truck and blew it off the road.
And now I have to quit smoking because otherwise we don't keep our apartment, and began with the patch before we left. And I'm not sure the damn thing even works; I feel the urge to cover my arm in them, like some toxic pattern of polka dots.
But nobody can say I haven't worked for this! My sentence in Chicago is up. Now if only we can make some sense of these damn boxes.
