I am so ready for Christmas. I just finished two new Vladrushka stories(one five pager and one twenty-four pager, the second of which I finished about 25 hours ago), and this coming year will see projects with Joe Blackmon (the long-delayed--yes--superhero project), and Charles Alverson, as well as a certain other writer whom I'll wait a bit before announcing, but I will tell you that it's political, he's British and you've read him. And you'll at least see it all here on the site. Intermittently I hope to give you lots more Drawing In Dirt. (Again, your donations and purchases help greatly with that, and thanks to all who have and do)
But in the meantime I am doing nothing useful whatsoever. Instead, I'm relaxing and catching up on some reading and viewing I've been putting off much of this year, which I hope to cram into three days. Ha!
But even while working on a project and not really having the time to be a viewer or reader, I keep going on Amazon and Ebay anyway and buy them. Books, comics, movies, toys. And they store up for the few days a year I'm not busy and bleary of eyes. The only one I can keep up with while working, of course, is music. The rest...well, I guess despite my best efforts at resisting geekdom(again, ha!), I've turned out a collector after all.
Here's some of the movies I'm enjoying at the moment. Maybe you might look at this and go, "Hey, yeah, I'd like to look at that." Or not. Whatever.
Movies in snow: (So I like horror movies at Christmastime. It's the UK blood--they like ghost stories at Christmas there)
A strange number of industrial and propaganda films I found a few months ago on Ebay. I don't have the time to watch, but I seem to have the time to shop.
