Palin: Taking the GOP For Every Penny
I sometimes think McCain meant Palin as revenge on the party. So she gets herself invited to speak at a GOP event in Iowa, usually the first step toward the presidency for a Republican. She agrees. And she charges them $100K for it, something no other Republican seeking the presidency would dare to do if invited to Iowa. And they're raising the money.
She seems to have figured out just what kind of suckers have accepted her as their leader. And, having realized what is to be gained from her wardrobe raid last year, is taking them for all they're worth before the shine fades off her, making a fortune off the idea she might run
. The GOP's biggest star is, essentially, no different than a reality TV star. Hilarious.
I suppose I can take this as reassurance that she is not
seriously planning to run. In which case--skin' em, Sarah, that's fine with me. You're the best friend the Democratic party ever had in the GOP.
